Money-back policy overview
To the extent permitted by applicable law, purchases of subscriptions and paid features made via rezime.io are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless:
- a refund right is granted by this policy (for example, our money-back guarantee), or
- a refund is required under applicable consumer protection or other laws in your country.
The sections below explain when you may be eligible for a refund and what conditions apply.
1. Money-back guarantee rules
In addition to any rights you may have under applicable law, Rezime may offer a voluntary money-back guarantee for certain purchases made directly on rezime.io. If a money-back option was clearly presented to you during checkout, you may be eligible for a refund if all of the following conditions are met:
- Contact us in time. You contact us via email at support@rezime.io within 30 days of your initial purchase and before the end of your subscription period.
- Technical issues. You experienced errors or technical problems with the product that prevented you from reasonably using the Service, and you provide reasonable evidence such as screenshots or screen recordings.
Once you submit your refund request, we will review your case and notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
Important limitations
Meeting all of the above requirements is necessary to qualify for a full voluntary refund under our money-back guarantee. Please note that this guarantee does not apply in the following situations:
- Purely personal reasons. For example, you no longer like the product, you decided you do not need a resume builder, or the Service did not fully meet your expectations.
- Financial reasons. For example, you did not expect to be charged, did not realize that a trial would convert into a paid subscription, did not notice that subscriptions renew automatically, or did not realize that the Service is paid.
In such cases, and unless required otherwise by applicable law, fees already paid are generally not refundable.
2. General refund rules
If you do not meet the conditions set out in the money-back guarantee section above, or if a specific money-back option was not offered during your checkout, the fees you have paid are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless:
- a different refund right is expressly stated in this policy, or
- a refund is required by applicable law (for example, certain consumer rights laws).
3. Note for EU / EEA residents
If you are a user based in the European Union or EEA, you may have a legal right to withdraw from certain contracts within 14 days without giving any reason and without incurring any costs, subject to the conditions described below and applicable law.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by sending us an email (you may use a model withdrawal form if available, but it is not mandatory). It is sufficient that you send your communication before the 14‑day withdrawal period has expired.
If you validly withdraw from a contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that we begin providing the Service during the withdrawal period and gave your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you would lose the right of withdrawal once the digital content or digital service is fully performed, then:
- for digital content that is fully provided, you may not be entitled to a refund (unless the Service is defective); and
- for ongoing digital services, you may only be entitled to a proportional refund for the part of the service not yet provided at the time of withdrawal.
Where this provision applies, we will provide you with a copy of your prior express consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium, where required by law.
